Thomas Atlas is a dynamic British singer-songwriter, guitarist, and performer whose musical journey seamlessly blends genres such as blues, soul, funk, jazz, and Americana to create an authentic and organic sound. Beginning his career touring the UK and USA with Soul and Blues ensembles, he later embarked on a solo path, marked by a pivotal collaboration with talent from "The Brand New Heavies," including trumpet virtuoso Bryan Corbett. His viral "Garage Funk" videos ignited widespread fan and industry interest, leading to performances at iconic venues such as Ronnie Scott’s, Birmingham Symphony Hall, The 100 Club, Birmingham Town Hall, and a residency at Jools Holland’s The Jam House. He has captivated audiences across Europe with his electrifying guitar prowess and genre-blending compositions, with his debut album, featuring hit tracks like "Juice," introducing his vibrant, genre-fusing sound to a global audience—"Juice" now surpassing 400k streams. Known for his powerful live performances, Thomas consistently delivers energetic and soulful shows backed by talented session bands, forging deep connections with audiences at festivals such as Party in the Park, Dartmouth Music Festival, and The Great British Rhythm & Blues Festival. Beyond headline shows, he has supported renowned artists including John Lodge of The Moody Blues, The Move, Paul Jones of The Blues Band, and Steve Gibbons, while also playing private shows with special guests like Robert Plant. His performances at London's Piano Smithfield, Birmingham’s The Jam House, and Scotland’s Edinburgh Jazz Bar are always well-received, leaving audiences eager for more.  

 

Internationally, Thomas has completed residencies on the Greek island of Rhodes and continues to push his creative boundaries. In addition to his live work, he is actively involved in songwriting and studio projects. He has recently written new songs with Robin Monotti, a renowned songwriter who has collaborated with Eric Clapton, with Robin soon to be featured on Thomas’s upcoming album. Thomas is also working on a studio project with his uncle, Richard Digby Smith, famed for recording and producing legendary acts such as Led Zeppelin, Free, and Bob Marley. These exciting ventures are propelling Thomas into the studio to record his second album, marking a new chapter in his evolving musical career. With his career continually expanding, Thomas Atlas remains dedicated to delivering unforgettable performances and compelling new music that resonate long after the final note.
